Question: Is there any possibility to collect my call details and recordings of my old used number through RTI? My husband applied a divorce against me and am not ready to give the divorce now. I am staying with my parents and working in a private company. But my husband isn’t aware of my job now. He is trying to prove me as a disrespectful woman in front of the court. So he filed a RTI against my mobile that I used in 2020 now I changed my number from jan 2021.

Personal information of an individual does not fall under the purview of Right to Information Act 2005 (RTI). In the larger public interest the state can obtain call details (CDR) of individuals through RTI (Asia Ummer Nattukallingal v. BSNL, CIC 11120). CDR is not a public information.
If your call details are required for investigation or an offence has been committed and your call details may help to nab the accused then the investigating officer can collect your call details through the order of court instead of RTI.
Thus it is not possible even for the police to collect call details of individuals through the RTI. You as a subscriber can seek call details directly from your service provider.
